How to uninstall the previous eduroam configuration profile in macOS (if you've installed a profile recently):

If you have a previous UCI eduroam configuration profile, you may need to remove it first. If not, continue to Install New eduroam.

  1. Click the Apple Menu in the upper-left of your screen and select System Preferences.
  2. In System Preferences, select Profiles.
  3. Select the User Profile on the left labeled University California Irvine Eduroam, and then select the minus sign in the lower-left of the window.
  4. Select Remove in the pop-up window that appears, and when prompted, enter your username and password (for your Mac, not your UCInetID and password) to successfully remove the profile.

Changed your password?

Note: If you’ve recently changed your UCInetID password, you will lose your connection to eduroam (you’ll know you’ve lost the connection if you go into your Wi-Fi settings and notice that there is no checkmark next to eduroam)

Follow these steps to modify your eduroam configuration to enter your new UCInetID password.

  1. Tap the Settings icon and then tap Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap eduroam from the list of Available Networks.
  3. You will see a spinning icon next to it and after a few moments, you will receive a prompt asking you to Enter the password for “eduroam”. Carefully enter your new UCInetID password and then tap Join.
  4. The window will disappear, you should see a checkmark next to eduroam and you will once again be connected.
